The minister has intervened in the issue after the talks between the exhibitors and ‘Marakkar’ producer failed. The theatre owners declined the demands put forward by Antony Perumbavoor over the release of ‘Marakkar’ in theatres. Following this, the producer has confirmed that ‘Marakkar’ will have a direct OTT release.
