Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali are reuniting on a project following the success of ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’, ‘Mirage’ marks Asif’s reunion with Jeethu Joseph

Following the success of ‘Kishkindha Kaandam’, which received critical and audience acclaim, Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali reunite for the upcoming film ‘Mirage’. The second look poster of the film has now been officially released. It features Asif and Aparna in a moment of startled intensity, their eyes reflecting a terrifying sight; as though frozen by the horror they are witnessing.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jeethu Joseph, the film recently drew attention with its digital illusion teaser. The first look poster that followed was also widely appreciated. Now, with the release of the second look, the buzz surrounding ‘Mirage’ continues to grow.
The cast also includes Hakim Shajahan, Deepak Parambol, Hanna Reji Koshy, and Sampath Raj in prominent roles. The film is produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Jatin Sethi, and C.V. Sarathi under the banners of E4 Experiments and Nath Studios, in association with Seven One Seven Productions and Bed Time Stories.
Earlier this year, Asif Ali's first release of 2025, ‘Rekhachithram’, became a major box office success. After the much-discussed ‘Kooman’, ‘Mirage’ marks his reunion with Jeethu Joseph; a collaboration that has already piqued the curiosity and excitement of film lovers.
The crew working on the film is also diverse, featuring some lesser-known names.
