Pranav Mohanlal, son of the popular Malayalam actor Mohanlal, is celebrating his 34th birthday on July 13.
Mohanlal shared a heartfelt message on social media marking his son's special day, along with a photo of Pranav, which has caught people's attention.
“Happy birthday my dear Appu.. May this year be as special as you are! Lots of love, Acha,” wrote the actor.
MG Sreekumar, actresses Beena Antony, Gauri Nanda, and several others also wished the young actor on his birthday.
Directed by Vineeth Srinivasan, the latest film starring Pranav had released in theatres, a few months ago. Pranav chose not to join promotional events for his movie. He loves to travel and often shares pictures of his journeys on social media. A recent Instagram post by Pranav amused people online because of the large size of his backpack. Some jokingly asked if he had brought his entire bed from home to Hampi.

Recently, Pranav announced that he is putting together a book of poems. He shared a preview of the book's cover and said, "I'm compiling my poems into a book, so stay tuned." The title 'Like Desert Dune' was also mentioned in the picture.
The actor isn't the lone writer in his family. Pranav's sister, Vismaya, wrote a book called ‘Grains of Stardust'. It's a collection of poems that Penguin Books published in 2021. The book was also translated into Malayalam and published by Mathrubhumi Books.
