Bollywood actor Kabir Duhan Singh is set to make his return to Malayalam cinema with Ottakomban, a film starring Suresh Gopi and produced by Sree Gokulam Movies on a lavish budget. Singh previously captivated audiences as the villain in the Unni Mukundan-starrer pan-Indian blockbuster Marco.

Ottakomban marks a special milestone as it is Suresh Gopi's 250th film and his first Malayalam project after assuming office as a Union Minister. The movie is directed by debutant Mathews Thomas and written by Shibin Francis, promising a gripping narrative.

Kabir Duhan Singh, known for his roles across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi films, debuted in Malayalam cinema with the Mammootty-Vysakh movie Turbo, which was released last year.

In Ottakomban, he will share the screen with Suresh Gopi, who portrays Kaduvakunnel Kuruvachan, a character inspired by a real-life figure who once dominated Pala and its surrounding areas in Central Travancore. The film is positioned as a family-orientated action drama, featuring Gopi in a mass role that fans are eagerly awaiting.

The star-studded cast also includes Indrajith Sukumaran, Vijayaraghavan, Lalu Alex, Chemban Vinod, Johny Antony, Biju Pappan, Meghana Raj, and Suchitra Nair. Alongside these familiar faces, the film features over 70 actors, including many newcomers.

The shooting of Ottakomban is being carried out at various locations, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Pala, Erattupetta, Kochi, and Hong Kong.
