Kottayam: With just one day left until its premiere, the film 'Turbo' starring Mammootty has already achieved a new milestone in advance booking ticket sales.
According to the most recent data, tickets worth Rs 2.60 crore have been purchased for 1,400 screenings, surpassing the previous record set by "Bheeshmaparvam."
The film's ticket sales are rapidly increasing, not only in Kerala but also internationally. 'Turbo' is setting records in the UK and has the largest release for a Malayalam movie in Germany. In Kerala alone, the film will be shown in over 300 theatres.
The duration of the film is 2 hours and 32 minutes. The trailer has generated great excitement among fans and audiences. Directed by Vysakh under the banner of Mammootty Kampany, the screenplay is by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The distribution is handled by Wayfarer Films, and the overseas distribution is by Truth Global Films.
Turbo is the fifth film from Mammootty Kampany. It tells the story of Jose, a jeep driver, played by Mammootty. The other cast members include Kannada actor Raj B. Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil. The background score is composed by Christo Xavier and the team.
