He doesn’t have any major health problems. He’s just taking some rest, that’s all

Malayalam cinema audiences are eagerly awaiting the comeback of Mammootty. After undergoing treatment for health issues, he is currently resting. Because of this, he has taken a short break from films. Now, Mammootty’s nephew and actor Ashkar Saudan has shared an update about his health, saying Mammootty is doing well.
While speaking to Milestone Makers during the promotions of the film The Case Diary, Ashkar Saudan talked about Mammootty’s health. He said Mammootty is happy and his health has improved. His birthday is on September 7, and Ashkar is confident that there will be a comeback. “He doesn’t have any major health problems. He’s just taking some rest, that’s all,” Ashkar added.
Ashkar also said that Mammootty is happy to see all of them acting in films, and that the reason he himself is able to sit for an interview is only because of Mammootty.
Mamootty’s last release was Bazooka, directed by Dino Dennis. His upcoming projects include a big-budget film directed by Mahesh Narayanan and Kalankaval, directed by newcomer Jithin K. Jose. The Mahesh Narayanan film will feature a huge star cast alongside Mammootty, including Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, and Fahadh Faasil. In Kalankaval, Vinayakan plays another major role.
