Kollam: Actor Mammootty is set to extend support to deserving patients by providing free wheelchairs to health institutions across Kerala. The initiative is spearheaded by the Care & Share International Foundation, an organisation led by the actor.
The state-level inauguration of the project will take place on Monday at Gandhibhavan International Trust, Pathanapuram, in Kollam district. The event will be inaugurated by Punalur Bishop Selvister Ponnumuthan, with Gandhi Bhavan Managing Trustee Dr. Punalur Somarajan presiding over the function.
As part of the initiative, wheelchairs will be distributed on a district basis to selected health institutions.
