Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Indrans has responded to the Hema Committee report, which contains serious allegations against popular Malayalam actors and directors. Speaking to the media while attending a Literacy Mission exam for 7th standard, Indrans addressed the accusations, attempting to downplay their severity.

Indrans commented on the situation, saying, "It will always be like this. Something or the other will come up from time to time. There will be no harm to the industry or anyone else. The government will take appropriate action. If there are any complaints, let the investigations proceed accordingly."

When asked about claims of knocking on doors, Indrans said he was unaware of anyone knocking on doors and said that he himself has not knocked on any doors. He also commented on allegations against Film Academy Chairman Ranjith, stating that he does not know any of the current Malayalam actresses, let alone Bengali actresses.

"People can say what they want about the Chief Minister or the Prime Minister, and it becomes widely known immediately. When it comes to those in leadership positions, it gets discussed right away. I am not aware of any details about that," Indrans added.

Meanwhile, following the release of the Hema Committee Report, several female artists have come forward with allegations of sexual harassment against members of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
