Malayalam cinema’s rising star Lukman Avaran takes centre stage as a passionate lover in the upcoming romantic comedy-drama ‘Athibheekara Kaamukan’, whose first song, ‘Premavathi…’, sung by popular playback singer Sid Sriram, has been released. Following the massive success of his viral track ‘Minnalvalaa…’, which amassed over 100 million views on YouTube, Sid Sriram returns with another soulful melody expected to resonate deeply with audiences.

Penned by Karthik (Heykarthiii) and composed by Bibin Ashok, ‘Premavathi…’ adds to Sid Sriram’s growing catalogue of emotive songs. The music rights for the film have been acquired by Saregama, reportedly for a record amount. The collaboration was teased earlier with a poster featuring Sid Sriram alongside rapper Fejo, highlighting the association with the music label.

The film pairs Lukman Avaran opposite Drishya Raghunath, who plays the female lead. The cast also includes Manohari Joy, Ashwin, and Karthik in pivotal roles. Shot extensively in Palakkad, Kodaikanal, and Nelliampathy, the film promises a vibrant and engaging cinematic experience.

Produced by Deepthi Gautham, Gautham Thaniyil, V Mathiyalagan, and Sam George under Pink Bison Studios and Etcetera Entertainment, the film is co-produced by CC Nithin and Sujai Mohanraj. The directorial reins are shared by CC Nithin and Gautham Thaniyil, with Sujai Mohanraj handling the screenplay. Cinematography is by Sriram Chandrasekaran, and Bibin Ashok also provides the background score.

‘Athibheekara Kaamukan’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 14 and will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, making it accessible to audiences across India. The film’s first-look poster has already created a buzz on social media, building anticipation for both the song and the cinematic release.
