The much-anticipated Malayalam movie ‘L2: Empuraan’ has finally hit theatres, drawing an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences. The film, hailed by many as the "Hollywood movie of Malayalam," has been receiving praise from all corners.

Mohanlal's wife, Suchitra, and their son, Pranav Mohanlal, watched the first screening of L2: Empuraan. Sharing his thoughts post-screening, Pranav, who is also an actor, described the film as "super." Suchitra too echoed his sentiments, expressing her appreciation for the film. "It’s a good film, I really liked it. It feels like an English movie," she remarked.

Veteran actress Mallika Sukumaran, mother of director Prithviraj Sukumaran, shared an emotional reaction with the media after watching the film’s first show. "This is the first time in my life I’m watching a film on first day, first show. With the blessings of Sukuvettan (her husband and late actor Sukumaran) and the wholehearted support of Mohanlal and Antony (Antony Perumbavoor, film’s producer), my son has delivered something remarkable. I believe the Kerala audience will embrace it wholeheartedly," Mallika said.
