Mollywood actor Ajmal Amir who is known for the Malayalam movie ‘Madambi’ and Tamil movie ‘Ko’ has surprised the audience with his performance in Nayanthara starring ‘Netrikann’. The 35-year-old actor who is also a doctor took a break of two years from films for pursuing MD overseas.

‘Netrikann’ marks Ajmal’s first movie after returning to India.

The movie which is an adaptation of the Korean film ‘Blind’ portrays the story of a visually impaired lady CBI officer who confronts a serial killer. ‘Netrikann’ had a direct OTT release through Disney Hotstar on August 13.

Interestingly, Ajmal played the role of the antagonist in the movie.

Nayanthara played the lead role of the visually impaired woman. Both stars impressed the audience by giving their best performance.

Ajmal hopes that ‘Netrikann’ will mark his strong comeback to the industry.He will collaborate with popular directors Ram Gopal Varma and Mysskin in his upcoming projects.
