In an interview with Jinal Modi, South Indian actor Kichha Sudeep’s daughter, Saanvi, opened up about her long-time crush on Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra. The young star revealed that her infatuation with the actor began when she first saw him in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year in 2012 and continued for years. However, Saanvi’s heart was shattered when Sidharth tied the knot with actress Kiara Advani.

"I have had one celebrity crush in my life, apart from Allu Arjun," Saanvi confessed. "The crush started from the day I first met Sidharth in 'Student of the Year'. I cried a lot after his wedding. I even shared the meme 'Alexa, play Channa Merayya' as my Instagram story."

She would often share his pictures as Instagram stories and save them in her highlights. "At one point, it reached 700. That is, seven highlights of 100 each," she explained. But after the wedding, Saanvi deleted all traces of her infatuation. "I thought, if I became an actress, Siddharth would see all these pictures when he checked my profile. I wondered what he would think of me," she said, laughing. "So, I deleted them all."

Saanvi admitted that watching Sidharth’s wedding video felt like watching a sad movie.
