Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kiara Advani sparked concern on Saturday after rumours swirled that she had been hospitalised in Mumbai. Several media outlets claimed the actor was admitted to a hospital on Saturday morning. However, her spokesperson has now issued a statement behalf of her.
“Kiara Advani has not been hospitalised. She has been advised to rest due to exertion as she has been working non-stop.”
The actress has been juggling a packed schedule, including her much-anticipated project, 'Game Changer'. Kiara is set to share the screen with superstar Ram Charan in the Shankar-directed film, which is slated for release on 10 January 2025.
Touted as a gripping political drama, 'Game Changer' will see Ram Charan in a double role. The plot revolves around an IAS officer with a fiery temperament, who takes on corrupt politicians—including the Chief Minister Bobbili Mopidevi—in a bid to fulfil his father Appanna's dream of a corruption-free India.
One of Kiara’s most intense commitments for the film was a song sequence that took 13 days to shoot. In December, she shared a behind-the-scenes video of her rehearsals for the track titled ‘Dhop.’
“This was the first time I filmed a movie song for 13 days on a set that felt like being in Disneyland. Here’s a sneak peek of my first day at rehearsal for the first schedule of *Game Changer*. We started the film with the shoot of the song #Dhop, beautifully conceptualised by @shanmughamshankar Sir,” she wrote on Instagram.
