Actor Kani Kusruti shared a heart-touching post on social media about her trip to Rome with her mother, Jayasree. In the post, Kani said that neither of them particularly enjoys travelling, but they decided to travel together nonetheless. She added that while she thought she might have to push through her mother’s preferences, her mother accompanied her with an open mind, making the trip all the more special.

“I knew I would cross her boundaries here and there... and still she held me with such openness.

She followed me into every museum, though she didn't care for them. Walked endlessly with me in Rome... and said the ruins felt like a place she somehow belonged.” Kani wrote on Instagram.

“One day I went out with my friends, and she with hers, new friends she had just made. That night at the dinner table, they told me the jokes she had cracked, and I realised that might be my favourite memory of the whole journey.

 

 

 

 

I watched her quietly taking photographs, moving in her own rhythm. And every night... we made sure to go for a walk and end it with gelato," she wrote.

“By the end of it, I was reminded again how different we are... and yet how much I love those differences,” she added.
