Thiruvananthapuram: Film director K Madhu has been appointed as the chairman of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC). He is also a member of the corporation’s board of directors.

The appointment fills the vacancy left by the demise of former chairman Shaji N Karun, who passed away at the end of April.

K Madhu is best known for directing several hit films, including the popular Oru CBI Diarykkurippu.
