‘It would make me so happy just to see him once’
A few days ago, a video featuring Raghavan Nair was shared on social media, where the elderly fan made an emotional plea:
“My name is Raghavan Nair. I’m a fan of Mohanlal. I’m 96 years old. It would make me so happy just to see him once.”
The clip quickly went viral, tugging at the hearts of thousands who were moved by his genuine and simple wish. And as luck would have it, the video reached Mohanlal himself and the actor responded with love and kindness.
"Dear Raghavan Chetta, I saw your video. Hearing you say how much you like me and my films made me very happy. Sending you lots of love and prayers. I hope I get the chance to meet you someday," Mohanlal said.
Soon enough, that dream did come true. A video of Raghavan Chettan meeting Mohanlal has now surfaced online. The 96-year-old fan was seen beaming with happiness, chatting excitedly and completely overwhelmed by the moment.
Raghavan’s family added a sweet touch by showing Mohanlal a photograph of him standing beside a cutout of the actor during the release of ‘Thudarum’.
The video of their meeting has been melting hearts all over social media, with fans praising the actor’s humility and kindness.
