In a recent chat hosted by ‘Animal’ director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Jr NTR praised Janhvi Kapoor's resemblance to her late mother, the legendary Sridevi. "During a photoshoot, Janhvi looked strikingly like Sridevi garu in certain angles," he noted. "Her performance and smile evoke a sense of Sridevi."

Janhvi, reflecting on this, shared, "It's strange to say, but I feel this connection more when I act or speak in Telugu. It feels like home."

The film ‘Devara’, also starring Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Shine Tom Chacko, is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts. The first part releases on September 27. Jr NTR will follow with ‘War 2’, alongside Hrithik Roshan.

‘Devara’ was earlier scheduled to be released on October 10. The makers of the film had unveiled a movie poster last month featuring Jr NTR, while announcing the film’s release date.

"Devara", billed as an high-octane action drama set in the forgotten coastal lands of India, is a two-part epic from filmmaker Koratala Siva. 

Talking about the film, the producers said, “We are glad to announce that 'Devara Part 1' directed by Koratala Siva will now release on September 27, 2024. We have planned this move keeping in mind how the film is coming together and we don’t wish to keep the fans waiting anymore."

The film is making waves with its recently released ‘Fear Song’, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

The official X page of "Devara" shared the new release date of the film.
