Hollywood actor and WWE icon John Cena shared a heartfelt message for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan

In a rare and heartwarming exchange between two global stars, Hollywood actor and WWE legend John Cena has expressed deep admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, describing the Bollywood icon as a source of inspiration in his life.
During his recent #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan was asked by a fan to share his thoughts on Cena. The actor replied, “He is a rock star. Very humble and kind.” The brief but powerful compliment quickly went viral, reaching Cena himself.

Responding to Khan’s message, Cena wrote, “Will never forget your kindness and our conversation. Thank you for the constant inspiration to me personally and your fans around the world!”
This is not the first time Cena has spoken about SRK’s influence on his life. In a past interview with ANI, the “Fast & Furious” actor shared that a TED Talk by Shah Rukh Khan had a profound impact on him during a difficult period. “He did a Ted Talk that found me at the right time in my life and his words were beyond inspirational,” Cena said, adding that Khan’s message helped him “orchestrate a change” in his perspective.
Cena recalled feeling “starstruck and emotional” when he finally met the Indian superstar at a wedding in Mumbai. “It was just such an emotional moment to shake the hand of someone who affected my life so drastically and tell them specifically what they did,” he said.
He further described Shah Rukh as “empathetic, kind, and sharing,” adding, “It really was wonderful. I was awestruck, starstruck. It was fantastic.”
The exchange has resonated with fans across both film and wrestling worlds, celebrating the mutual respect between two of the biggest entertainers on the planet — one from Bollywood and the other from Hollywood.
