Tanya Mittal makes a flamboyant Bigg Boss 19 entry, claiming she’s inside with 800 sarees and a love for security entourages

Mumbai: Bigg Boss 19 has officially kicked off with Salman Khan returning as host and unveiling a star-studded contestant lineup during Sunday’s grand premiere. But it is influencer-entrepreneur Tanya Mittal who has quickly become the talk of the show with her unusual revelation.
Tanya, who entered the house in a traditional avatar, disclosed that she has brought along more than 800 sarees to sustain her journey inside. “I am not leaving my luxuries behind, I am taking my jewellery, accessories and more than 800 sarees inside the house. For every day, I have decided on three sarees which I will be changing throughout the day,” she said.
The influencer also made bold statements about her security entourage. “My bodyguards saved 100 people in Kumbh Mela, even saved police, and that’s why I ended up here. So my bodyguards are well-trained. I haven’t got any threats yet, but I can’t wait to get one and then keep security. This has been going on in my family for a long time; everyone had security. We have a habit of walking with security. We like having PSOs and staff,” she claimed.
Bigg Boss 19 features a mix of actors, influencers, and musicians as contestants, including Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Quadri, Nagma Mirajkar, Awez Darbar, Nehal Chudasama, Abhishek Bajaj, Baseer Ali, Gaurav Khanna, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, Neelam Giri, Kunickaa Sudanand, Amaal Mallik, and Mridul Tiwari. Farhana became the first contestant to be voted out.
This season runs under the theme “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar”, which puts decision-making power into the hands of the housemates. Bigg Boss 19 streams daily on JioHotstar at 9 pm and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 pm.
