Mollywood star Kunchacko Boban shared his happiness to attend the International Film Festival of Kerala which is being held in Thiruvananthapuram. The actor who completed 25 years in cinemas attended the event for the first time.His recent release ‘Ariyippu’ was screened at IFFK on Saturday.
“I took 25 years to reach here. It’s a moment of happiness, pride and relief,” said the actor.
Chackochan’s ‘Ariyippu’ was screened in the competition category of IFFK at Tagore theatre. The actor co-produced the movie directed by Mahesh Narayanan.
Chackochan also revealed his excitement in watching the movie along with the audience at IFFK.
“ Malayalis are superb. I can’t forget the experience of watching the movie amid the claps of the audience. When I committed to the project, I only wanted to be part of a good movie,” said the actor.
'Ariyippu' centres around the lives of a struggling Malayali couple who dream of migrating out of the country for a better life. The film also explores emotional, social, and marital imbalances in their relationship.
