Hulk Hogan, the legendary WWE star whose real name was Terry Bollea, died from acute myocardial infarction — a heart attack — on July 24, 2025, as per the official autopsy from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center.

The report according to Page Six, states that Hogan went into cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida, home and was declared dead at Morton Plant Hospital shortly after.

The forensic documents further reveal that Hogan had been living with atrial fibrillation (AFib), an irregular heart rhythm condition, and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) — a type of cancer affecting white blood cells — a fact not publicly known during his lifetime.

The medical examiner ruled his manner of death as natural, and cremation proceedings are currently underway, pending formal approval. The shocking disclosure of his cancer history surprised fans and followers alike, as Hogan had maintained a public image of resilience despite health speculations.

Earlier in July, his wife Sky Daily had dismissed online rumours, saying Hogan was “healing” post a major neck surgery (a four-level ACDF procedure) and that his heart was strong. She denied reports of Hogan being in a coma or suffering brain damage. Just weeks before his death, his manager Jimmy Hart also insisted Hogan was doing “phenomenal.”

Tributes have since poured in from fans and the wrestling world. His son, Nick Hogan, mourned the loss of his “best friend,” while WWE held a memorial segment during Monday Night Raw, where Nick was seen visibly emotional.

The revelations mark a poignant end to Hogan’s life — not only as a wrestling icon, but also as a man who fought a silent battle with cancer in his final chapter.
