A throwback picture of veteran star Sathyaraj and Kerala's own Fahadh Faasil has recently become a talk on social media.

In a recent interview with a Tamil YouTube channel, Sathyaraj talked about the picture of little Fahadh sitting on his lap.

Fahadh Faasil’s father has directed films in Tamil as well. Fazil has directed ‘En Bommukutty Ammavuku’ and ‘Poovizhi Vasalile’ in Tamil. ‘En Bommukutty Ammavuku’ is the Tamil remake of Malayalees’ beloved film ‘Ente Mamattukkuttiyammakku’, directed by Fazil himself. The picture was taken when he visited Fazil's family during the shooting of the film.

“En Bommukutty Ammavuku and Poovizhi Vasalile were shot in Alappuzha. While shooting for the film, we went to his house to have lunch. The lobster biryani was delicious! This picture was taken after the meal. But I didn't know that it was the same kid who acted in ‘Maamannan’ and ‘Aavesham’,” said Sathyaraj.

Jithu Madhavan’s comedy entertainer Aavesham, starring Fahadh Faasil, emerged as the biggest blockbuster with a global collection of 150 crores. His upcoming films are ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ in Telugu and ‘Vettaiyan’ in Tamil, starring Rajinikanth.

Sathyaraj’s recent film ‘Singapore Saloon’ was released in January this year.
