Kochi: Anaswara Rajan is currently one of the busiest actors in Malayalam cinema. Having made her debut at a very young age, she has already grown in stature as one of Malayalam's most bankable stars, with several superhits to her credit, including Rekhachithram, in which she starred alongside Asif Ali. The film is currently running successfully in theaters.

However, the path to stardom has not been easy for the young actor. In a recent interview with Saina South Plus, Anaswara opened up about the emotional struggles she faced during her school years, revealing the tough experiences she endured.

"As it often happens, I had to pay the 'price' for fame. At school, I was treated differently by some teachers," she said.

Anaswara recalled how certain teachers made remarks when she failed to score high in some exams. "For example, while teaching me, they would say things like, ‘It doesn’t matter if you don’t study, you have films anyway.’ Such comments had a deep emotional impact on me," she admitted.

She also revealed that making friends was difficult for her. "I have only a few close friends. But even their parents were told by some teachers not to let them associate with me," she said.

The emotional toll was so severe that she even considered changing schools. "I was completely drained. I couldn’t share my feelings with anyone. I cried a lot and thought about leaving my school," she recalled.

Despite the difficulties, she believes that facing such challenges early in life made her emotionally stronger. "Having gone through such an intense emotional breakdown at the start of my career, everything else felt simpler later on," she concluded.

Anaswara’s revelations shed light on the struggles young artists often face—not just within the film industry, but in their personal lives as well.
