Advance bookings for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, popularly referred to as Dhurandhar 2, have opened across theatres in India. Actor Ranveer Singh shared the update with fans through social media, announcing that ticket sales had begun nationwide.
In his message, Singh wrote: “Let the games begin. Advance bookings for Dhurandhar The Revenge are open nationwide.” The announcement quickly generated excitement among fans awaiting the sequel.

Tickets for the film can currently be booked on the online ticketing platform BookMyShow, where audiences can reserve seats for both preview screenings and regular shows.
The film is scheduled to release worldwide on March 19, 2026, coinciding with major festivals including Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, which could contribute to strong opening-weekend collections.
How strong are the advance booking numbers?
According to early box office data, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already recorded ₹19.01 crore in advance bookings for premiere shows across India.
The film has reportedly sold over 356,000 tickets across 8,371 preview shows, indicating strong demand before its official release. When blocked seats are included, the total preview gross rises to approximately ₹24.2 crore.
Most of the revenue has come from the Hindi 2D version, which accounts for ₹18.51 crore, with an average ticket price of about ₹414.
What are theatres saying about the demand?
Multiplex chain PVR INOX has reported strong pre-release demand for the film. According to Gautam Dutta, CEO of PVR INOX, the film is designed for the theatrical experience.
He said films such as Dhurandhar: The Revenge are made for the “scale, sound and emotion that only cinemas can deliver,” adding that the response from audiences has been significant enough for theatres to expand the number of screenings.
The multiplex chain alone has reportedly sold over 150,000 advance tickets for preview shows.
Has Dhurandhar 2 broken any records yet?
With ₹19.01 crore in preview bookings, the film has already surpassed the previous Bollywood record for paid previews, which was held by Stree 2. The strong early performance suggests the film could deliver one of the biggest openings of the year.
Industry observers are now watching whether the film can surpass the overall preview record set by Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG.
