Fans can visit late actor Dharmendra’s Khandala farmhouse for free on December 8, announced his family as a tribute ahead of his 90th birthday.

Mumbai: The late actor Dharmendra’s farmhouse in Khandala will be opened to fans. The announcement was made by his family through social media. Fans will be able to visit the farmhouse on December 8. The Deol family decided to do this as a tribute ahead of the actor’s 90th birthday.
No prior registration or pass is required to enter the farmhouse. The gathering at the farmhouse will begin at 1 pm. The family decided to allow free entry in order to create a space where people who loved and admired Dharmendra could come together and pay their respects. Media personnel will also be permitted entry.
To facilitate travel, buses will be available from Lonavala. The Deol family, including Sunny, Bobby and their children, will be present at the farmhouse to meet and greet fans.
Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. The visit coincides with the celebrations planned for his 90th birthday on December 8 at his residence in Juhu, Mumbai. Towards the end of October, Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to breathing difficulties. He passed away 12 days after being discharged from hospital. In addition to being an actor, Dharmendra was also a film producer and political figure. His funeral took place at the Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu.
Recently, a prayer meeting was held in Mumbai in memory of Dharmendra. Named the ‘Celebration of Life’, the event was hosted by the Deol family and attended by prominent figures including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Rekha and Aishwarya Rai.
