Delhi is set to host its inaugural India AI Film Festival (IAFF) on February 17 at the iconic Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Organised by InVideo and sponsored by Nvidia, the one-day event will coincide with the India AI Impact Summit, bringing together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and creative professionals to explore the role of artificial intelligence in modern storytelling.
The festival promises an exciting lineup for attendees. Audiences can expect screenings of five to six of the best indie AI short films, selected from hundreds of global submissions. In addition, two films produced by leading AI studios will be showcased, highlighting the cutting-edge potential of AI in cinema. Beyond film screenings, the event will feature panel discussions, opening remarks, and a fireside chat titled “The Future of Storytelling”, with industry experts such as Vikram Malhotra, CEO of Abundantia Entertainment, and Mike J Mitch, co-founder of Phantom X. The evening will conclude with an awards ceremony, offering $12,000 in prizes to the standout films.
Attendance at the festival is strictly limited to registered and confirmed guests. Standard passes are priced at ₹2,500, while a limited number of discounted and free passes are available, including for media personnel. Registration requires basic information such as name, phone number, and email address.
The festival will run from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm, featuring a red-carpet reception, networking session, and formal opening speeches by key figures including Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director of Nvidia – Asia South, and Sanket Shah, co-founder and CEO of InVideo. Guests are encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire, in keeping with the cultural theme of the event, which will include Indian music, lighting, cuisine, and even the style of films being showcased.
