Roshan Mathew and Darshana Rajendran starrer ‘Paradise’ was released in theatres on Friday (June 28). The film, acclaimed for its authenticity and compelling storytelling, has garnered praise once again.
Directed by Sri Lankan filmmaker Prasanna Vithanage, 'Paradise' has been winning hearts with its genuine portrayal of emotions. The fans and critics praised the performances of Roshan and Darshana in the film.
Darshana Rajendran took to her social media to share her excitement about the film's reception. On Instagram, she expressed, “Overwhelmed by the responses pouring in for our film Paradise. It’s running in theatres worldwide, and that's the best outcome for this special film. We hope you get a chance to watch it in a theatre near you.”
Paradise marks the first Malayalam film to win the Kim Jiseok Award and the first South Asian film to be recognised at the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival.
The cinematography by Rajeev Ravi, with editing by A. Sreekar Prasad and colouring by Liju Prabhakar, promises audiences an immersive theatre experience.
