After a series of controversies, Shane Nigam's "Haal" is finally set to reach audiences with court approval. The film will be released in theatres this Christmas. A new poster has been unveiled, carrying the line "Finally reaching the audience with the court's permission", along with the prominent media headlines that had circulated around the title-related controversies.

The film had drawn significant attention after the Censor Board demanded the removal of certain scenes. The Board instructed that six portions, including a scene showing the consumption of beef biryani, must be removed. In response, the makers approached the High Court challenging the decision.

The CBFC had maintained that screening permission would be granted only if six cuts were implemented. However, the Single Bench annulled four of these cuts. Appeals filed by both the CBFC and the Catholic Congress were dismissed by the High Court today, with the Division Bench upholding the Single Bench's ruling. The judges had personally watched the film before delivering the verdict, noting that they enjoyed the film.

Following the favourable ruling, the team released the film's new poster. "Haal" features Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead. The cast also includes Johny Antony, Nath, Vineeth Beep Kumar, K. Madhupal, Sangeetha Madhavan Nair, Joy Mathew, Nishant Sagar, Niyas Becker, Riyaz Narmakala, Suresh Krishna, Raveendran, Sohan Seenulal, Manoj K.U., Unniraja, and Sreedhanya in prominent roles. The film will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, making it a pan-Indian entertainer. "Haal" is produced under the banner of JVJ Productions. The screenplay is written by Nishad Koya. Think Music is the music partner.
