Veteran film producer Boney Kapoor is making headlines again -- this time, for his remarkable weight-loss transformation. Kapoor has reportedly lost around 26 kilograms without stepping foot in a gym, relying entirely on strict dietary changes and lifestyle discipline.

According to media reports, the 68-year-old producer’s routine now excludes dinner, replacing it with light soups, while his breakfast usually includes fruit juice and jawar roti. Despite avoiding traditional workouts, Kapoor's results have left fans both inspired and surprised, especially as photos of his leaner frame continue to go viral on social media.

In a candid reflection on his journey, Kapoor shared how his late wife, actress Sridevi, played a pivotal role in motivating him to lose weight.

“My wife Sri used to tell me, ‘Boney, first lose weight then you can fix your hair,’” he revealed, referencing his long-standing plan for a hair transplant.

“I remembered my wife's advice... so I went on a diet and lost about 14 kgs.”

Eventually, after years of hesitation, Kapoor went ahead with a hair transplant procedure.

“Finally, one day, I was convinced. In three days, they planted almost 6,000 hair,” he said with a smile.

The transformation, he admits, was as emotional as it was physical — a journey shaped by family insights and personal resolve.

Boney Kapoor is now gearing up for his next production, 'No Entry 2', featuring Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, with Anees Bazmee returning as director.
