While Meghan’s remark may seem playful, it adds weight to a long-standing rumour.

Meghan Markle has confirmed the return of her hit Netflix series With Love, Meghan, and it’s already stirring headlines – not just for its guest stars and lifestyle insights, but for a surprising revelation about Prince Harry's eating habits.
In the newly released season 2 trailer, the Duchess of Sussex is seen in conversation with celebrity chef and humanitarian José Andrés, when she shares an unexpected fact about her husband: he can't stand lobster.
"You know who doesn't like lobster?" Meghan asks in the clip. "My husband." Andrés replies with a cheeky grin, "And you married him?", prompting laughter from the Duchess.
Netflix confirms season 2 launch date
The teaser not only highlights candid moments from the upcoming season but also confirms that season 2 of With Love, Meghan will premiere on Netflix on 26 August.
The highly anticipated follow-up was announced just three days after the first season concluded in March, signalling strong viewer interest and streaming success. "I love the idea of spending time together and finding new ways to show people you care," Meghan says in the video, which also encourages audiences to "be curious together."
Celebrity guests and culinary conversations return
Much like its first season, With Love, Meghan season 2 promises a blend of lifestyle advice, cooking tips, and heartfelt conversations.Season two will showcase an impressive lineup of high-profile guests, including TV personalities such as Chrissy Teigen and Tan France; celebrated culinary experts like José Andrés, David Chang, Samin Nosrat, Christina Tosi, and Clare Smyth; along with influential voices in wellness and culture such as Jay Shetty and Radhi Devlukia.
Joining the roster are Meghan’s longtime friend and Pilates Platinum founder Heather Dorak, as well as Jamie Kern Lima, who previously featured Meghan on her debut podcast appearance.
Chef José Andrés, recipient of an Emmy Award and globally respected for his philanthropic efforts, also appears in a standout segment that’s already generating buzz as one of the season’s defining highlights.
Royal seafood aversion sparks discussion
While Meghan’s remark may seem playful, it adds weight to a long-standing rumour that members of the Royal Family traditionally avoid certain seafood, primarily to reduce the risk of foodborne illness during royal engagements abroad.
Though Prince Harry no longer represents the monarchy in an official capacity, his distaste for lobster may have roots in royal convention – or simply personal preference.
The Duchess’s offhand comment has now gone viral, with many royal watchers amused by the couple’s domestic dynamic.
