“They will attack me again. They will continue to persecute me," Ansiba said.

Kochi: Actress and former Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) joint secretary Ansiba Hassan has filed a fresh complaint with the Palarivattom Police in Kochi, alleging that former AMMA president Shweta Menon and former vice-president Lakshmipriya conspired to defame her through social media.
The complaint alleges that fake and obscene videos were circulated online to damage her reputation.
In the police complaint, Ansiba alleged that Shweta Menon entered into unlawful agreements with a social media public relations agency based in Thiruvananthapuram to spread false information about her after resigning from AMMA.
She also alleged that remarks made in a video circulated by Lakshmipriya were obscene, insulting to her dignity as a woman, and defamatory.
The complaint seeks the registration of a case against both Shweta Menon and Lakshmipriya and calls for a detailed investigation into the allegations.
Earlier, Ansiba had filed complaint against actor Tiny Tom, alleging that he referred to her as a "Jihadi". She had also lodged a complaint against Lakshmipriya and a woman sub-inspector at the Hill Palace Police Station in Tripunithura, alleging mental harassment after being questioned for about three hours. Police later said those allegations were not substantiated.
Ansiba alleges defamation and social media campaign
In a statement shared on social media after filing the police complaint, Ansiba alleged that she had been subjected to sustained harassment and attempts to isolate her. According to her post, she was labelled with terms including "Methachi" and "Jihadi" ("Methachi" and "Jihadi" are deeply offensive, derogatory and Islamophobic slurs), and claimed that a public representative and others had supported the campaign against her.
"Many people, including a public representative, were part of it. But after all that, only one message sent to me by that public representative's son remains: 'Don't give up'. Sitting in their armchairs, they assassinated my character. From a great actor to my colleagues, they even defamed me in the name of my late stepfather. Now, those cruel fingers are reaching my friends as well," Ansiba alleged.
"The thought that I have four siblings was not enough to stop them from trying to destroy me. They are spending lakhs and using PR agencies to conspire against me. They will attack me again. They will continue to persecute me," Ansiba said.
"Even after realising that my life itself is in danger, I decided to fight because the law of this country is my last resort. With firm faith that justice will prevail... the truth will come to light. Even in this darkness, my faith in justice is the only thing that keeps me moving forward," she added.
