Actress Revathi denies allegations of director Ranjith sending her nude pictures of youth

Actress Revathi has denied allegations that director Ranjith sent her nude pictures of a young man. Revathi also stated that she is aware of the news involving her and Ranjith which has been circulating of late.

Clarifying that she has not received the pictures in question, Revathy took a stance that there is no need to react further on the matter. Her response came on a national media. 

The allegations were raised by a youth who accused director Ranjith of sexually assaulting him in a hotel room. The man also claimed that Ranjith sent his nude pictures to the actress and he believed that it was Revathi.
 

The youth’s version

As per his complaint, Ranjith commented on his eyes and made some inappropriate physical remarks after they had some drinks at his hotel room in Bengaluru. The young man said, hoping to secure a role as promised by Ranjith, he tried to tolerate it. Ranjith then sexually abused him multiple times while the youth was in a semi-inebriated state due to the alcohol. The young man also alleged that Ranjith, promising more opportunities in films, took his nude pictures and sent them to a Malayalam film actress.

The next morning, Ranjith gave him money. When he said he didn’t need money but wanted an opportunity in films, Ranjith said he was in a hurry. Later, when he tried to call, his number was blocked. Though he had informed about this incident to a prominent actress, she did not react, the youth added.
