Actress Ansiba Hassan has stated that she will take legal action against Tini Tom. She expressed that she does not expect to receive justice from the complaint filed with 'AMMA' (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). She also alleged that a female SI at the Thrippunithura police station mentally harassed her for hours and tampered with her statement. Ansiba added that she would file a complaint against this female SI as well and made it clear that she is not open to any compromise. She disclosed this during an interview with Mathrubhumi News.

"I have now decided that I must take legal action against Tini Tom as well. This is because I have no faith that I will get any justice from AMMA or this committee. I was insulted for three hours at the Thrippunithura Women's Police Station. I went there thinking I could comfortably share my side of the story and return. But right from the moment I arrived, their behaviour was completely prejudiced. The complainant, also an actor, was talking very amicably with the SI and other officers, asking about their families. The complainant's daughter was even sitting and playing on the side table of the SI's desk.

“She was an SI who was simply not ready to listen when facts were presented. Her name is Reshma. It made me wonder if she actually passed the SI exam to reach this position. I now feel that if there had been male officers there instead, I might not have had to face this much distress. The complainant sat right in front of this SI and hurled curses and a barrage of verbal abuse at me. This is the first time in my life I have seen an SI who just sat there silently listening to all of that. I haven't seen such an SI even in films.

“I will definitely file a complaint with the Home Minister. This SI, Reshma, forced me to write an apology and sign it, and later added two more lines to it. When I signed it, the text only went as far as expressing regret. After I signed, she added two more lines. She then allowed the complainant to take a photo of it. I was not allowed to take a photo. At that moment, the SI even asked, 'Shall I add that Ansiba will not ruin your family anymore?' I then said that I also wanted to take a photo of it. I felt terrified. I don't know what else they are going to add to it. Writing and getting a signed apology like this must be intended to silence me in the future.

“Even though Neena Kurup validated the allegations raised against Tini Tom, the President says only one person has heard it. I intend to move forward legally in that matter as well. Some people from the AMMA association are calling me. I am not interested in such a conversation because I had already reported all these matters to the association earlier. These are things known among the office-bearers. Those who did nothing back then are probably ready to listen now only because the media is reporting it well and due to the resulting pressure. I have not been called by the association for a compromise in this incident," Ansiba said.
