The winners of the 72nd National Film Awards have been announced, celebrating the finest achievements in Indian cinema across feature films, non-feature films and technical categories.
This year's honours saw major victories for films and performers across languages, with Kalki 2898 AD winning Best Popular Film, while Kartik Aaryan (Chandu Champion) and Mammootty (Bramayugam) shared the Best Actor award. Yami Gautam was honoured as Best Actress for Article 370, while several acclaimed films including Pushpa: The Rule (Part 2), Amaran, Stree 2 and Manjummel Boys featured among the recognised titles.
