The makers of ‘40 Days of House Party’ have unveiled a new poster from the upcoming Malayalam film, offering a colourful glimpse into its retro-inspired world. The poster features a young woman in a vintage-style outfit, complete with curly hair, adding to the film’s youthful and distinctive visual aesthetic.

Starring Kunchacko Boban alongside a lineup of fresh faces, ‘40 Days of House Party’ is written and directed by Shifina Babin Pakker. The filmmaker has previously worked as an assistant director on the popular Malayalam films ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham’.

 

The film is jointly produced by Ananthu Entertainments and Theatre of Dreams, with Dr Ananthu S. and Dolwin Kuriakose backing the project.

The latest poster follows the release of the film’s title poster, which had earlier caught attention on social media. The movie’s ceremonial puja was attended by Tamil star Suriya, along with members of the cast and crew and several personalities from the film industry.

Production on ‘40 Days of House Party’ began on April 6 in Kodungallur. The film brings together an experienced technical crew across various departments, with Alby Antony handling cinematography and Vivek Harshan serving as the editor.

Bibin Ashok has composed the music, while Vishnu Govind is in charge of sound design. Manav Suresh is the production designer, with costumes by Mashar Hamsa and makeup by Ronex Xavier.

Kishore Purakkattiri serves as the production controller, while Mansoor Rasheed is the chief associate director and Akhil Damodar is the art director. Amal Xavier Manakatharayil and Ratheesh Mannarkkadu are the executive producers.

The technical team also includes lyricist Vinayak Sasikumar, choreographer Sherif Master, sync sound designer Vaisakh P. V., and stills photographer Shane Saboora. Vaishakh C. Vadakkeveedu and Jinu Anil Kumar are handling PR and marketing.

Remesh C P is the colourist, with Color Planet Studios handling DI. Abhilash Chacko has designed the title, while Adhin Ollur is behind the poster design. Athira Diljith is the PRO for the film.

With its youthful cast, vibrant visuals and retro-inspired styling, ‘40 Days of House Party’ has already begun building curiosity ahead of its release.
