Thiruvananthapuram: The 28th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) finally concluded with the grand closing ceremony at Nishagandhi Auditorium on Friday. 

'Evil Does Not Exist'  directed by Ryusuke Hamaguchi won the Golden Crow Pheasant Award (Suvarna Chakoram) for Best Picture. Uzbekistan writer-director Shokir Kholikov won the Silver Crow Pheasant Award for Best Director (Rajatha Chakoram) for his feature film SUNDAY (2023). 

Miguel Hernántez and Mario Martinez won the award for the best sound design for the movie 'All the Silence'. Fazil Razzaq was selected as the best debut director for the film 'The Sentence (Thadavu)' in the international competition category. The film also won the Audience Poll Award. 

Uttam Kamati, who directed the film 'Kherwal', received the FFSI KR Mohanan Award for Best Debut Director from India. 'The Play (Aattam)' won the NETPAC Award for the Best Malayalam Film, and Shokir Kholikov won the NETPAC Award for the Best Asian Film for 'SUNDAY'. 

Shruthi Sharanyam won the FIPRESCI Award for Best Malayalam Film for 'B 32 Muthal 44 Vare'. The FIPRESCI Award for Best International Film went to 'Prison in the Andes' directed by Felipe Carmona. 

Director Adoor Gopalakrishnan presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Christoph Sanusi. Actor Prakash Raj was the special guest at the closing ceremony.
