Actor Suresh Gopi has come in support of his colleague Lena over her comments on mental health and her views about reincarnation. Lena claimed in a media interview that she was a Buddhist monk in a past life, which drew criticism on social media. Furthermore, the Kerala wing of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychology also dismissed her comments.
Amidst these developments, Suresh Gopi has come in support of his colleague. While addressing the gathering at a programme in the Prajyoti Niketan College in Thrissur, the actor said that people mocking Lena are the really mad ones.
“Lena has achieved a great level of spirituality. I would advise the college administration to arrange an interactive session with her for students. Such interactions, in my opinion, are quite necessary in these days of rising drug usage. Lena is one of those people who stands out. People might laugh at her. I believe this is because these people have no other business,” said Suresh Gopi.
“Some people are unable to accept others when they speak about great things. People like Jaggi Vasudev and Lena, in my opinion, should constantly interact with the country's younger generation. It will propel our children to greater heights,” he added. Suresh
