In a collaboration no one saw coming, legendary singer Usha Uthup and music producer Mayur Jumani have taken the internet by storm with a quirky and nostalgic recreation of Dhinchak Pooja’s viral track “Dilon Ka Shooter.”

The video, part of a creative campaign for Ather Rizta, has quickly become a viral sensation online, with over 1.7 million views and still climbing as meme pages and content creators continue to share and remix it.

What made the internet sit up, however, wasn’t just the musical collaboration, but the song choice. Usha Uthup, known for her powerful voice and evergreen hits, was seen singing a reimagined version of “Dilon Ka Shooter”, a track originally released by social media personality Dhinchak Pooja in 2021. Pooja rose to viral fame with her 2017 track “Selfie Maine Leli Aaj,” and her music has long been a subject of both mockery and fascination on the internet.

The new version, layered with Mayur Jumani’s signature edits and synth touches, gave the track a whole new vibe. As one user put it, “Mayur can even make Dhinchak cool again.”

The unexpected mash-up left social media users in splits, and awe.

“Collaboration no one expected,” one person commented. Another wrote, “How does Usha Uthup get cooler and cooler?

Jumani himself described the video as a rare gem, calling it a “Laakhon mein ek collab.”

Even jokes about potential copyright trouble made their way into the comments. “Aa rahi hai Dhinchak Pooja copyright maarne,” one user joked.

One particularly witty user wrote, “When hacker meets developer,” referring to Jumani’s remix skills paired with Uthup’s vocal power. Another quipped, “If only @dhinchakofficial had someone to edit her songs like this, she would've vibed differently.”

While it may have begun as a promotional stunt, the video has now entered pop culture as a moment, where meme meets music, and nostalgia fuses with fresh creativity.
