Music director Bibin Ashok has found fame with his latest track, Onam Mood, which has captured attention ahead of the release of the film Sahasam. The song, part of the upcoming movie set to hit cinemas on August 8, has quickly become a social media sensation. Within just a few days of its release, it was trending on YouTube Music and has now become this year’s Onam anthem among Malayalis.

Onam Mood features in the film Sahasam, directed by Bibin Krishna. The song was composed by Bibin Ashok and sung by Fejo, with lyrics penned by Vinayak Sasikumar. The melody stands out as the highlight of the song, offering a fresh and contemporary take on traditional Onam tunes. Bibin Ashok, through his musical innovation, has given the Onam song a 'new gen' touch, making him the central figure behind its popularity.

Bibin Ashok is known in the Malayalam film industry for his work as a music director. He previously worked for nearly a decade alongside renowned composer Bijibal, contributing to around 50 films. Bibin came into the spotlight through his background scores in films such as Neerja (2023) and Corona Dhawan (2023).

His breakthrough as a music director came with the 2024 film Mandakini, where his song Vatteppam quickly climbed the charts soon after release. The track went viral on social media and various audio platforms.
