Seoul: BTS members Jin and Kim Namjoon had a memorable night as they attended Coldplay’s concert in Seoul on Friday evening. Videos and pictures of the duo having a great time quickly flooded social media platforms.

Jin's Surprise Moment With Chris Martin
During the show, Jin took to the stage and was pleasantly surprised when Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin lifted him up and twirled him around. Jin laughed heartily during the moment, delighting fans. Later, Chris and Jin sat together as Chris performed. Chris also sang with Jin and thanked him in Korean for joining the performance.

At one point, Jin added a playful touch by wearing an alien mask. Speaking to the audience, Jin said, “BTS will be back soon,” hinting at the group's reunion following the end of their military service obligations.

Chris Martin teased Jin on stage, saying, “Coldplay is leaving Korea but soon BTS will come back, so that’s good. Everybody’s only watching our show because you guys are unavailable right now.”
Chris warmly thanked Jin, saying, “We are so grateful to you, my brother. Thank you for introducing us to BTS. Thank you for being so kind to us. Thank you for singing with us today. We love you always."

Namjoon Joins the Fun
Meanwhile, Kim Namjoon (RM) was seen enjoying himself in the audience. He danced, sang along, and cheered for Coldplay. Namjoon wore a casual outfit consisting of a white T-shirt, black hoodie, trousers, and a beanie.
On Instagram Stories, Namjoon later shared a photo with Chris Martin and South Korean rapper PSY, smiling and making a goofy face for the camera.

Jin and Coldplay’s Bond
Just days earlier, Jin joined Coldplay during their Seoul concert, marking his first public performance after his military discharge in June 2024. At that event, Chris Martin bowed to Jin, who returned the gesture, before they shared a hug. The two artists performed The Astronaut and My Universe together.

BTS and Coldplay first collaborated in 2021 on the song My Universe. Jin later teamed up with Coldplay for his solo single The Astronaut.
BTS is made up of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V (Taehyung), and Jungkook. Coldplay is currently on their Music of the Spheres world tour, having performed at the Goyang Stadium in Seoul on April 22, 24, and 25. The band is set to continue their tour in the United States next.
