Seoul: BTS' Jimin, who is currently serving in the South Korean military, recently interacted with fans on Weverse, less than two months before his scheduled discharge. The singer shared insights into his thoughts about life after his service and engaged with fans in a playful exchange.

Jimin, who enlisted in 2023 alongside RM, Suga, Kim Taehyung, and Jungkook, is due for discharge in June this year. During his interaction, he responded to fans' requests with humour, asking for "proof" of their promises, like doing "100 pushups" or scoring "100 in the Math test." Jimin’s lighthearted approach to the conversation endeared him to his fans, and he continued to tease them, saying, "You guys are saying huge stuff... I request proof for this too."

One of the most interesting parts of Jimin's interaction was when he shared his thoughts about post-military life. Reflecting on changes he might make, he wondered aloud, "How long do I grow my hair out once I'm out, would it grow fast? Would I still be able to wear earrings? Or is it closed? Should I change my dressing style? I've never worn perfume, should I try?" His musings about returning to a more relaxed style after his military service had fans buzzing with excitement.

Jimin also shared his excitement about returning to the stage and his future with BTS, stating, "I've been working out, so dancing (again) wouldn't be that difficult, right? What song should I perform? What kind of album would we be making in the future to start our story? What kind of journey would my 30s be?" He expressed his desire to continue performing without injury, noting, "I want to perform on stage for a long time without getting hurt."

When asked about his hair, Jimin hinted at a change, saying, "Shouldn't I have to come and grow it out first?" He also confirmed that Jungkook was next to him during the chat, further strengthening the connection with fans.

As Jimin, along with his BTS members, looks forward to their discharge and the next chapter of their journey, fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the group, counting the days until June. With his mix of humour and excitement for the future, Jimin’s fans can’t wait to see what’s next for him—and for BTS—after their military service ends.
