A protein shake made from raw eggs, banana, milk, soy sauce and chilli sauce became the unlikely trigger for a larger clash on the latest episode of Bigg Boss Bangla, with contestant Jeetu Kamal openly challenging host Sourav Ganguly over his handling of fellow housemate Rajveer Dey.

The confrontation unfolded after several contestants branded Dey 'arrogant ’, 'selfish', 'ill-mannered' and 'fickle-minded'.

The housemates subsequently offered him the unusual concoction, which Dey drank in one go without appearing fazed.

Dey maintained that he was not inside the Bigg Boss Bangla house to build relationships, but to play the game.

He also opened up about losing his father during childhood, saying difficult circumstances had contributed to making him stubborn.

Nandini Ganguly was the only contestant who came forward in his support.

However, his response did not sit well with Jeetu. He was particularly unhappy that Dey appeared to show little remorse despite criticism from several housemates.

As Ganguly attempted to address Dey in a relatively measured manner, Kamal stepped in and questioned whether the host was indirectly condoning the former’s aggressive and disrespectful behaviour.

Kamal argued that if physical strength alone determined how the game was played, contestants could simply resort to fighting without paying heed to the rules.

He also questioned why Dey appeared to have no regret despite being called out by multiple housemates.

The confrontation visibly caught Ganguly off guard. The host clarified that he did not support disrespectful conduct or the practice of dragging someone's family into an argument.

Ganguly also stressed that the 14 contestants came from different backgrounds and therefore could not be expected to respond to situations in the same way.

He added that, in his capacity as host, he had reprimanded or cautioned contestants to the extent he believed was necessary.

Kamal's concerns were not isolated. Tanushree Roy Das also backed his contention over what they perceived as preferential treatment being extended to Dey.

With tempers rising, Ganguly ultimately issued Dey a final warning over bringing family references into arguments inside the house.

Alexandra Taylor's eviction leaves housemates emotional

The episode also ended on a deeply emotional note with the eviction of Irish model Alexandra Taylor.

Taylor had formed a close friendship with Sohini Paul from the very first day of the show.

Paul had frequently helped Taylor follow conversations whenever the language barrier became difficult for her. Her departure left Paul struggling to process the moment.

'I still cannot digest this. Did Alexandra really leave? Will she really never come back?' Sohini said emotionally.

 

Jhilam Gupta and Niranjan Mondal were also seen breaking down as the housemates bid farewell to Taylor, while Roy Das appeared visibly emotional.

Durnibar Saha, who had clashed with Taylor on occasion but nevertheless shared a cordial equation with her, reflected on her exit with a sense of disappointment.

'There were only a few people who were good in this house, and they are also leaving,' he said.

The episode thus packed two sharply contrasting developments into one night: a heated debate over Dey's conduct and Ganguly's handling of it, followed by an emotional farewell as Taylor's journey in the Bigg Boss Bangla house came to an end.
