Jeevan Job Thomas hails from Vengola in Ernakulam district. A PhD holder in Physics, Jeevan is specialised in science writing. He has penned the screenplay for the Malayalam movie ‘Oru Kuprasidha Payyan’.
He has worked as Assistant Professor (Adhoc) in the Department of Physics, NIT Calicut. He had also undertaken a research in Nano magnetism at School of Pure and Applied Physics at Mahatma Gandhi University.
He has won the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment award for Science Journalism 2015. He has bagged Prof. Joseph Mundassery award for young writer 2015 and Dr. C. P. Menon Memorial Award for Science Writing 2015.
His important books include Rathirahasyam, Maranathinte Aayiram Mughangal, Viswasathinte Sareerasasthram, Parinama Sidhantham - Puthiya Vazhikal Kandethalukal and Nidramoshanam.
