Khyrunnisa A is an award-winning writer of children’s fiction from India. She created the popular comic character Butterfingers and authored the hilarious Butterfingers series of books for older children. The latest, ‘Smash It, Butterfingers!’ a badminton-based novel is the seventh in the series. ‘Itha Butterfingers!’, the Malayalam translation of ‘Howzzat Butterfingers!’ was published by Mathrubhumi Books. Her two books for adults are the best-selling ‘Tongue in Cheek: The Funny Side of Life’ and the humorous travelogue, ‘Chuckle Merry Spin: Us in the U.S.’ She has written two collections of delightful animal stories, ‘The Lizard of Oz and Other Stories’ and ‘The Crocodile Who Ate Butter Chicken for Breakfast and Other Stories’, and a short novel, ‘Baby and Dubdub’.
