Zakariya is the director of the popular film ‘Sudani from Nigeria’. The movie was widely appreciated though it did not feature any super stars. The narrative style and novel theme was acclaimed by the viewers.

Hailing from Valanchery in Malappuram, Zakariya has completed post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism. He has worked as an assistant professor at MBL Media School in Kozhikode. He entered into film industry as an assistant director.
