He had spent about four years serving Nitya Chaitanya Yati in the ashram at Fern Hill in Ooti. He always accompanied Guru and was with Guru even at the time of his demise. At present, he lives in Karamadai near Coimbatore.
He has penned a number of books including Bhakti - Yatiyude Nirvachanam, Daivathinu Oru Thuranna Kathu, Nithyantharangam, Mozhiyazham, Athmavil Ninnum Jeevithathilekku, Mounapoorvam, Thazhvarayude Sangeetham, Snehadaram, Sahajamaya Vazhi, Ramana Maharshi, Nooru Dhyanangal, Kabeer and Jeevitham Paranjath.
He won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for best travelogue for the book ‘Himalayam - Yathrakalude Oru Pusthakam’ in 2007.
