M. K. Sanu is a noted critic, writer and biographer. He was born in 1928 in Alappuzha. He is known for his profound knowledge in both Western and Eastern philosophies. He also brought a different style in biography writing in Malayalam.
Changampuzha Krishna Pillai: Nakshatrangalude Snehabhajanam, Sahodaran. K. Ayyappan, Mruthyunjayam Kavyajeevitham, Narayanaguru Swami, Kattum Velichavum, Chakravalam, Rajaveedhi, Viswasathilekku Veendum, American Sahithyam and Prabhatha Darshanam are some of his major works.
He has bagged Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Vayalar Award, Padmaprabha Literary Prize, Mathrubhumi Literary Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for overall contribution and Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award among others.
