Gayatri Majumdar is the founder, editor, and publisher of the critically acclaimed Brown Critique, a literary quarterly and a blog. She is also co-founder of ‘Pondicherry Poets’. 

Gayatri’s career encompasses leadership in the publishing industry. Her poems and short stories have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines in India and abroad.

Shout was her first book of poems published by Sampark, New Delhi. A Song for Bela – Gayatri’s novel was published by Sun Publishing, New York in 2017. Her second volume of poems - I Know You Are Here – will be brought out by Red River, New Delhi, in early 2019.

Gayatri, now lives in Puducherry, where she is associated with a spiritual NGO.
