E. Santhosh Kumar was born in 1969 in Thrissur. Presently, he is employed in the National Insurance Company. He is the winner of Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Prof. Thomas Mundassery aWARD, V. P. Sivakumar Award, Nooranadu Haneefa Award and many other honours.

Galapagos, Moonnu Andhanmaar Aanaye Vivarikkunnu, Chaavukali, Moonnu Viralukal, Neechavedam and Oralkku Ethra Mannu Venam are the short story collections by Santhosh Kumar. Amusement Park, Vaakkukal, Kaakkaradesathe Urumbukal, Andhakaranazhi, Thankachan Manjakkaran, Kunnukal Nakshathrangal and Chidambara Rahasyam are his novels.
