Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to download e-Aadhaar online

With government services going increasingly digital, Aadhaar has also moved beyond paper. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) now offers e-Aadhaar, a secure electronic version of the Aadhaar card that is legally valid and widely accepted for identity and address verification.
e-Aadhaar is a password-protected PDF that is digitally signed by UIDAI. It holds the same legal validity as the physical Aadhaar card and is widely accepted as proof of identity and address. From opening bank accounts to completing government formalities or booking travel, e-Aadhaar helps avoid the hassle of carrying a physical document.
